Santorini, also known as Thira, is one of the Cyclades islands in Greece, located in the Aegean Sea. It is 73 square kilometers (28 square miles) in size, and home to now 25,000 people! Santorini has been voted "One of the World's Most Beautiful Islands", and I absolutely understand why. The volcanic eruption (Minoan eruption) that took place in 1470BC was one of the largest volcanic events on Earth in recorded history! With it's whitewashed villages perched along the red, yellow, and green covered cliffs, beautiful windmills, red & black sand beaches, stunning teal waters, countless blue domes, Santorini's beauty is surely undeniable! It is surely one of my favorite places in all of Europe! To get to the amazing island of Santorini, just take a short 45min flight from Athens directly to the island.

I traveled to Santorini during the end of April, early May. The weather was absolutely beautiful! I had no rain, got a great tan, the crowds were pretty much non-existent, and I still went swimming, though it was very chilly!
Zoe Aegeas Traditional Houses I cannot speak highly enough about where I stayed in Santorini! Zoe Aegeas Traditional Houses is located in a perfect location in Oia, with an absurdly gorgeous and iconic view! I reserved the Honeymoon Studio solely based on the incredible view. It was extremely convenient to everywhere I wanted to roam by foot, the room was just the perfect size, the owner Zak was extremely helpful with anything I needed, and did I mention in fantastic view?! I was right beside one of the blue domes, and footsteps away from the best spot to watch the sunset, "The Castle"! I would absolutely stay here again. Everything about it was magical!
Exploring Santorini I explored around the island of Santorini the coolest ways I could, by foot & four wheeler (ATV)!!! The first few days, I explored around the area by foot. I traveled around Oia, Ammoudi Bay, and The Castle by foot, and it is quite a bit of area to cover! Zak, the owner of where I stayed, was kind enough to arrange the ATV for me! I really enjoyed Red Beach, Fira, Perivolos, Akrotiri, and Firostefani. The entire island of Santorini is absolutely beautiful. The colors are overwhelming, the landscapes are fabulous, and the people are so nice! I highly suggest getting out there to explore! It was one of the cleanest islands with the best charm, I've ever seen!
