Sint Maarten/Saint Martin is an island in the Caribbean Sea, just east of Puerto Rico. The island is divided into two nations, the French Republic (northern half, "French" side, Saint Martin), and the Netherlands (southern half, "Dutch" side, Sint Maarten). It is the world's smallest inhabited island divided between two nations. Its 87 square kilometers (34 square miles) is home to about 40,000 people! Both sides of this island are gorgeous with countless palm trees, steep cliffs, blue-green waters, and covered in mountains as far as the eye can see!

I traveled to Sint Maarten/Saint Martin mid-May, and had great weather! I had one day of rain, but it only lasted a few hours. Otherwise, it was countless hours of sunshine!
Sapphire Beach Club I stayed at a beautiful place called Sapphire Beach Club, right in the heart of Cupecoy! They had a stunning pool by the bar, a private walkout to Cupecoy, and the views were incredible, and so rich in color! I stayed in a Two Bedroom Condo, with a hot tub on my balcony! I had a corner condo, so I had the luxury of having three different views from my condo! There were sliding glass doors that faced the sea with the pool down below, a set of French doors opening up to the landscape off the kitchen, and another balcony in the master bedroom, with a view of the street and mountains! The staff was always so friendly, and the resort was so clean! I never ate at the resort, I always ventured out and ate around the island and had the best cuisine!
Exploring Sint Maarten/Saint Martin I explored this beautiful island by renting a car, and a boat! I was anxious to see the island from both perspectives, and it was such an incredible experience! I explored Pelican Cay, Long Bay, Mullet Bay, Maho Beach, Baie Nettle, Philipsburg, Anse Marcel, Friar's Bay, Orient Bay, Happy Bay, and around Creole Rock. My two ultimate favorite spots was Baie Rouge & Pinel Island. Baie Rouge was on the west coast of the mainland and it was such a cool beach! When you first step on the sand, there was a little bar that was made out of plywood, and to operate the blender, they had it connected to a generator! They served me the best Pina Colada! Pinel Island is an awesome little island, just off of the east coast of the mainland. This island has nothing but two restaurant bars, and a path for those who want to explore the island! Exploring this island is a must!
